Our platform allows us to monitor, respond, inventory, audit, report, log aggregation and remotely manage our customers. Our Managed Services programs are available for a flat monthly fee. All programs are overseen by a project manager and we include our monitoring and NOC offering with all of our augmentation engagements.

Helpdesk

brightstack’s Helpdesk delivers courteous and patient end-user support and troubleshooting. Our Helpdesk analysts are expert communicators skilled in all the technologies used by our clients. All calls are tracked through our web portal.

Operational Support

brightstack provides Operational Support to ensure our customers’ environments are proactively managed, this includes Patch, Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus Management, Backup Reviews, Storage Management, Optimization, Backup and Disaster Recovery Plan Management, System and Firmware Updates.

brightstack augments the IT staff of businesses who are looking for a partner they can rely on. Our Level 1 Help Desk engineers provide end-user and desktop support to our clients. A typical engagement for our Level 1 engineer includes answering Help Desk calls, responding to trouble tickets, providing support across a number of technologies such as email, internet access, printers, EMR, PM, billing systems, remote access, and VPN.

Our Level 2 engineers handle complex infrastructure issues and take escalations of trouble tickets. A typical engagement for our Level 2 engineer includes Network Configuration and Management (LAN/WAN), load balancing, Citrix/Terminal Server, EMR and PM infrastructure, email systems, backup and disaster recovery, storage, virtualization, and security.

Monitoring

brightstack’s Monitoring service proactively alerts to troubles in our customers’ network and telephony environments. Monitoring is performed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Once we receive an alert, our team immediately begins remediation steps towards resolving the issue before it becomes a bigger problem.

Email Filtering

As the cost and complexity of unwanted email rises, small to medium-sized businesses find themselves in need of an in depth and affordable solution. brightstack offers a robust filtering solution with a user-friendly console and affordable pricing.

brightstack’s Email Filtering & Continuity blocks more than 99% of spam, viruses, worms and harmful content and attachments. Our unique multi-layered system protects against a wide range of email threats and includes Disaster Recovery so messages are never lost in the event of server connectivity failure.

We also help to eliminate 90% of spam-related costs. brightstack uses a unique multi-layered system of more than 20 separate filters to protect against a wide range of email threats. Distributed quarantine management, with our unique Spam Quarantine Reports, allows users to manage their own spam, offloading administrators. The solution also includes Disaster Recovery for up to five days with around-the-clock notification so messages are never lost in the event of server connectivity failure. Administrators can also manually manage the spool and unspool process for planned maintenance. Message Continuity is also available, providing 60 days of Webmail access for your users to the Disaster Recovery queue.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

brightstack’s Backup and Disaster Recovery solution consists of Network Attached Storage (NAS) with Offsite Replication. This allows for seamless data recovery and restoration in the event of a failure or disaster.

We save “generations” of data on the NAS, similar to a tape in a set of backup tapes. Data is then replicated offsite to two other data centers from the NAS. This service protects your data as frequently as every 15 minutes, every day. This service offers a backup retention period of 48 hours of Intra-daily, 14 daily, 5 weekly and unlimited monthly archives on the NAS which can be selectively pushed out to the remote storage facility. The option of expanding the retention period from a 1-Year to 7-Year History is also provided. Your data is stored (in encrypted form) in two secure online data backup centers, located hundreds of miles apart from each other. The service will also allow you to restore a failed server immediately from the onsite NAS.

Intrusion Prevention and Detection

brightstack’s Intrusion Prevention and Detection is a fully-managed security service that protects customers’ networks from attack. We take responsibility for providing the security solutions and expertise to monitor and respond to threats 24 x 7 x 365.

The Managed Service approach to intrusion prevention and detection is a fully managed security service which may well be the simplest, most cost-effective way to protect networks from attack.
